Muhammad Asadullah is an Urdu fiction writer from Nagpur, India.

He specializes in writing Urdu personal essays (Urdu Inshaiya). His latest book, 'Inshaiye ki Riwayat - Mashriq-o-Magrib ke Tanazur Mein' presents a compiled history of Urdu personal essays with critical analysis of Urdu writers and their important works.

He has written 11 books in Urdu on different topics such as Urdu essays, research articles, wit and humour, children's literature, marathi translations, one act plays.
